HOW IT WORKS
Squeeze has a pulse sensor. When it detects its wearer’s pulse
drop dangerously low, it automatically untightens the collar.

CHALLENGE
To use Google tech to solve for one of the United Nation’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
WHAT WE DID
We created an Android and iOS app, an admin website, and a purpose-built phone holder, from February to April for solution: Squirrel — Empowering you to make better decisions for the planet while shopping.
We were solving for SDG 12: 'Ensuring Responsible Consumption and Production'.

WHAT WE DID

RUBEN HUME (Computer Science)
Created the Squirrel Tree admin website, for supermarkets to inventory (Firebase).
TAHA YOUSAF (Industrial Design)
Designed the Branch phone holder, to be attached to shopping carts.
ALEJANDRO SANTIAGO (Computer Science) Business strategy. Coded the Flutter app, contributed to design, and coordinated the team.
RAJORSHI SIRCAR (Graphic Comm Design)
Business strategy + Designed UI/UX for app, overall branding; produced and edited the video.
